I am online a lot, I have to keep up with my shop, and social networking and advertising and the like. I'm addicted to flickr and like to take photos and post there. One thing I do online every day is play a game called poupee girl. It's a Japanese fashion game where you have an avatar and dress her up every day to earn points called ribbons which you use to buy clothes, accessories, jewelry, makeup and all kinds of other stuff for your Poupee girl. Poupee means doll in french I am told and that is why they picked that name. The second part od the game is that you can post photos of actual clothes and accessories from your own collection to earn ribbons. Also when you post photos of your own clothes other people who play the game can comment on your posted clothes, and they and you earn even more ribbons. There is also a pay currency on Poupee girl but you by no means have to use it. Here are a few of my favorite photos of my Poupee girl.
I have totally learned a lot about Japanese fashion, culture, and customs from playing the game. Plus, I have pushed my own style farther then I ever would have if not for poupee girl. It's a super fun game that takes minimal daily effort. Here is a link to
Poupee girl. There is also a lovely
Live Journal community that is really helpful when learning the ropes on Poupee. I hope you'll check it out and as always thanks for reading!
